SNOW CLEARANCE MACHINE
Winter wonderland made accessible! In a game-changing move, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) revolutionized snow clearance in the region. In 2019, with support from the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grants, GDA acquired heavy machinery, including a four-wheel loader, a snow blower, and two tractors. This strategic investment ensured timely snow clearance and improved road accessibility during winter, leading to a remarkable boost in winter tourism in the enchanting Galiyat region. Now, visitors can embrace the snowy season with ease, immersing themselves in the breathtaking beauty that Galiyat has to offer.
TOURIST CARTS
Enhancing the tourist experience in Galiyat, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA), supported by the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grants, procured two electric tourist carts. These carts aim to provide convenient and enjoyable sightseeing opportunities for visitors. Additionally, the GDA recently procured four more carts. CONTAINERS CAFE
The Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) has breathed new life into an abandoned 1 Kanal land at Nathiagali plaza park. Prepared to be amazed as 2 innovative container cafes, utilizing shipping containers, and 3 model accommodation units crafted from environmentally friendly prefabricated materials, take shape. CLEANER TRUCKS
A cleaner Galiyat is our mission! The Galiyat Development Authority is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring proper cleanliness and solid waste management in the region. With support from the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grant, the authority has recently acquired two new garbage compactors, bringing the total number of waste collection machinery to five. PUBLIC TOILETS
To ensure top-notch facilities for tourists in Galiyat, the Galiyat Development Authority has installed three sets of portable toilets across the region. But that’s not all! We have plans to go even further, with an additional ten sets of portable toilets set to be installed at various spots throughout Galiyat.
